Not long ago, someone asked me why I've chosen music to be my life, and I couldn't answer the question, because if the truth be known, the music chose me. In the begining It was a distant drumming, my mother's heart beating, then my brother's transistor radio wafting late night motown hits through our shared bedroom, but I was fated even then to some day discover the Instrument of my lifelong passion.
There it was, waiting in a darkened closet, a sunburst finished Epiphone guitar. Beside it, a Harmony amplifier. My father played his songs on ukulele, but he never played this Christmas morning Epiphone, relegated to hide behind closeted Michigan winter coats. When my fingers met it's rosewood neck, nickel strings and felt the power from the amplifier, an eternal partnership was born -- those beating drums and songs inside me were given wings.
But it is you, my fans, and your appreciation, that urge me on my way. Every day I pinch myself with the realization that I'm so fortunate to be able to share my gift with you, my different drummer drumming.
Welcome everyone into this portal, through this electronic window. Look, listen & enjoy.
